Privacy Policy

Effective July 14, 2026

1. What this covers

This policy explains what information proposalpad.io (“ProposalPad,” “we”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers business owners with accounts and the clients who receive and sign proposals.

2. Information we collect

Account & workspace: your name, email, business profile (name, contact details, address, service area), branding (logo, colors, images), and proposal content such as checklists, terms, and pricing.

Client information you enter: client names, emails, phone numbers, and service addresses used to build and send proposals.

Signature records: when a client signs, we record the typed signature, acknowledgment checkboxes, timestamp, IP address, and browser information to create a verifiable signed record for both parties.

Usage & site analytics: page views and interactions on our marketing site and app, associated with anonymous visitor and session identifiers.

Payments: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer reference and subscription status, not your card details.

3. How we use information

To run the service: creating and delivering proposals, sending proposal and reminder emails, generating signed packets, showing your analytics, processing subscriptions, and providing support. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your clients’ information for our own marketing.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to operate: Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe (billing), Resend (email delivery), and Netlify (hosting). If you connect an automation such as a Jobber webhook, signed-proposal details are sent to the endpoint you configure.

5. Retention and deletion

Proposal and signature records are retained while your account is active because they document agreements between you and your clients. You can delete draft and cancelled proposals and client-book entries in the app. To delete your account and workspace data, email us and we will remove it, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is scoped per workspace with row-level security, and signed records include integrity hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for least access.

7. Your choices

Owners can update or delete workspace data in Settings. Clients who want their information corrected or removed should contact the cleaning business that sent their proposal — we act on that business’s instructions — or email us directly and we will coordinate.

8. Changes and contact

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify account owners by email or in the app. Questions or requests: records@proposalpad.io. See also our Terms of Service.
